Happy First Contact Day to all of our backers! This year we would like to celebrate by giving you "first contact" with our book covers.

As you know, we have put together two versions of the book: a nude version and a lingerie version. We are very excited about them and we hope you will be too!

I've been hard at work this week with final edits; crossing the t's, dotting the i's, all that stuff. Final proofing is around the corner! Once the books are with the printers, you'll get another update with information about surveys, and you'll have a chance to update your mailing address etc. if needed!

Boldly Stripped: Photo Editing is Complete!

Hello everyone,

First off, I'd like to apologize for not communicating more frequently. It's just my way, but I'm working on it! That said, I do have another exciting update: photo editing AND comic lettering are complete!

We've got 576 gorgeous photos in this book on 84 lovingly-designed pages. I know it's been a long road, but I am dedicated to getting this book into all of your generous hands!

A Holiday in Cardassia

Hello, and Happy Holidays!

No, it's not Captain Picard Day, but we are celebrating all the same! We have excellent news to share on this update: we have finally completed shooting for the book!

We had an extremely successful day with one sexy Cardassian officer. This last shoot was our most ambitious, and well worth it! Our prosthetics artist Ashley Ballou created some really beautiful pieces, and our body painter Caitlin from Skin City Body Painting did an amazing job.

The costume included EVA foam armor drafted from scratch, hand-pleated uniform, and custom lingerie, of course! We even had some great props, including Cardassian disruptor, PADD, and a screen-accurate Kanar bottle, provided by the good people at Star Trek Wines! All of this set against a couple of super space-age locations to which we were so very lucky to  be given access.

On top of all that, we even snuck into a certain 'Experience' for some guerilla-style shots at the end of the night. Some diligent Trek fans may recognize some of this architecture..

So where are we now? I've been going through the nearly 3,000 Cardassian photos to find the very best ones, and Dangrrr has been all over the editing for our other sets. You've heard it before, but we're almost there!

November Update

Dearest backers,

Hazel here, with another update! I wish to apologize for how things have been stuck on impulse drive in the second half of this year, but don't lose hope! During this time we are working on getting all of our photos edited, getting your other rewards ready to go, and planning our shipping strategies.

Why such delay? I will admit that we have had more challenges in this project than expected; after all it's just me and our photographer; we both have full-time jobs, and life can get in the way. Of course, that's a poor excuse for missing our projected timeline by such a wide margin, but all I can say is how proud I am of what we've created, and how sure I am that you will love this book! Please continue to bear with us, and you won't be disappointed!

Our final shoot, the Cardassian, is scheduled for the second week of December. After adding those final pages, the finish line is in sight, and with some luck I believe we will be able to go to print before the end of the year.

August Update: Getting There!

Hi Crew,

We hope everyone is having a lovely summer! Things are obviously moving a little slower than we would like, thanks to COVID, day jobs, and life in general, but progress is definitely being made and the finish line is in sight!

Cardassian Awesomeness

We still have some preparations to do before we’re ready to shoot the Cardassian, but the costume and prosthetics are well on their way, and they’re going to be AMAZING. 

Makin' It

Photo editing and other book design elements are also getting close. We have a graphic designer creating some backing cards for the Andorian (and Aenar!) pins, as well as some pieces of the book.
